Dr Sam Besnek BHS, MPP
Podiatrist
General foot care, diabetic foot, circulation problems, flat foot, orthotics.
Qualified to provide PRP injections to foot joints.
I completed my degree of Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University. I’ve worked in multiple clinical settings including public hospitals, community health centres and private practices. My personal interest in sports, especially soccer and martial arts, has given me a wider understanding of how important it is to feel and be healthy.
Stemming from these personal experiences, I have a main interest in sports podiatry and treating chronic heel, shin, and knee pain. I’ve adapted a combination of different therapeutic approaches to treat such conditions successfully. These include injection therapies, dry needling, and orthotics prescribing. Furthermore, my experiences lie in paediatric care, diabetic assessments, and injury prevention. Once again, my work in multiple health care settings has equipped me with the experience to adequately treat such conditions.
Dr Kevin Gan
Practicing sound medicine has always been his passion, as he views it as one of the most practical ways to help those in need while contributing to society in a clear and tangible manner through his work. To achieve this, he continuously seeks to develop a broad range of skills in primary care.
He firmly believes in treating the person rather than just the disease, embracing a contextualized, holistic approach to health and well-being. This philosophy is particularly evident in his appreciation for general family practice, with its diverse presentations and increasingly vital preventive health opportunities.
Dominic Rillstone
Business Unit Leader Plexus Victoria
You need to be a serious people person if you want to manage multiple medical practices. As a solution-focused person, Dominic is the person staff know they can turn to whenever they have an issue taking care of everything from the reception roster to human resources and recruitment at our South Yarra and South Melbourne practices.
Whether it’s about their pay, the facilities, a fellow staff member and everything in between.
Rather than work it out themselves, Dominic wants his teams to feel that by talking it through, they can leave feeling confident that the problem will be resolved. It’s all part of Dominic’s passion for developing the best culture possible at his practices and setting up an environment for success to occur. By understanding the people he’s working with, getting a sense of their priorities, what’s important to them and what makes them satisfied in their work, Dominic pieces together the different parts to create a positive group dynamic. As Business Unit Leader, Dominic is proud to be part of it as he helps seek out innovative solutions for the benefit of patients, staff and communities across Victoria.
